I have been making music all my life, mainly in the folk-rock style.  I grew up during the folk-boom in the UK and was influenced by Dylan, Simon, Mitchell, CSN&Y, McTell and all the other singer songwriters who emerged in the 60's and 70's.  My instruments are acoustic guitar, dulcimer and keyboards.

At 55, after a lifetime of songwriting, performing in many bands, writing musicals for kids and incidental music for theatre,  I realised early in 2005 that I have never really made the best recordings of my music.  I have boxes and jiffy bags full of live tapes, demo recordings and lyrics, but nothing properly arranged and produced.  Without too many years left, I felt it was time to take a retrospective look back on all these songs and begin a long-term project, producing 3 or 4 CD's over the next few years which will present 40 or 50 or my best songs and instrumental music.
